Diego Wouters (Wouters–Wolvers) excelleert op het hoogste niveau van de One Loft Races
Diego Wouters, PR-verantwoordelijke binnen de succesvolle samenwerking Wolvers – van ’t Oever, presenteert met trots een uitzonderlijke collectie duiven waarvan broers, zussen, ouders of kinderen zich op internationaal niveau hebben onderscheiden binnen de One Loft Races (OLR). Onder de teamnamen “Team Wolvers – Wolf”, “Wolvers – van ’t Oever” en “Wouters – Wolvers” worden jaar na jaar absolute topresultaten neergezet.
Door zijn drukke professionele activiteiten in de zorgsector is het voor Diego niet haalbaar om de duivensport volledig zelfstandig te beoefenen. Toch staat hij persoonlijk in voor het kweken, verzorgen en selecteren van de duiven die worden ingezet op diverse éénhokraces wereldwijd. In nauwe samenwerking met Ton Wolvers worden er geregeld duiven uitgewisseld tussen beide hokken, met als doel het afleveren van kwalitatief superieure jonge duiven voor de OLR-competities. Ton Wolvers volgt dit traject bovendien actief op en brengt regelmatig een bezoek aan de hokken bij Diego thuis.
De OLR-duiven van deze combinatie zijn opgebouwd uit bewezen internationale prestatielijnen, met invloeden van onder meer:
Willem de Bruijn – Mike Ganus – Schmidt & Pau – Gebr. Herbots – Combinatie Lin – Diego Wouters – Jan Hooymans.
Een genetische basis die garant staat voor snelheid, uithouding en absolute wedstrijdmentaliteit.
