In 2020 vierde familie Denys haar 100-jarig jubileum in de duivensport. Alles begon in 1920 met grootvader Emiel Denys Sr en dankzij de fanatieke/professionele inzet van kleinzoon Emiel (75j) is de naam Denys nooit uit de spotlights van de internationale duivensport gebleven. Alle podia heeft Emiel al bestegen waarbij de laatste jaren zijn focus vooral op de zware fond en one-loft-races ligt. En het mag gezegd worden… in beide disciplines kan Emiel meer dan zijn mannetje staan.
Naast de basis rassen Cattrysse, André Vanbruaene, Vander Espt, Stichelbaut en Georges Coutteau zit de beroemde “Tee”-lijn nog praktisch in alle toppers verweven. Emiel is steeds een verzamelaar geweest van internationale winnaars/asduiven. Toppers die ook hun stempel op de huidige stamopbouw gedrukt hebben en hierbij denken we spontaan aan de recente toppers “Silver Wing Barcelona” (3e Internat. Barcelona - Decherf Etienne) en “Trapke” (1e Nat. asduif KBDB alround – Leutenez)
