Yearling cock who won the NATIONAL ZLU-pigeon competition in 2009 !

- Along fathers side we find the "Witstaart" of Jan Polder and the "Victoria" (1st and 7nd Nat. St.-Vincent also of Jan Polder).
- Along mothers side it's a direct child out of the "Thorin" (8 Nat. Limoges) x "Isis" from Arie Dijkstra Oudwoude.

As a young bird "ZORRO" raced in his union:
1 Epernay (346 km) with heavy weather conditions wherefrom he came home on a very good condition!
Than they decided to race him on the morning releases of Bordeaux (895 km) and Narbonne (1002 km) in 2009 to test him.
Bordeaux was again very heavy wherefrom he came back again in a very good shape. (after night at 8.28 a.m. clocked with 800 m/m).
Of Narbonne he was clocked in the evening at 20.10 p.m. on the same day of release with 1287 m/m.

The end result was:
8 Nat. Narbonne against 3773 pigeons (teletekst) and
40 Nat. Bordeaux against 5235 pigeons.

His full brother was only raced on the day fond and became in 2009 day fond champion in the union.

"ZORRO" is realy a jewel of a cock with all the good aspects of a champion and this was proved on an exposition where he won the 1st prize.
