A topsale with no less than 3 pigeons that are classified within the National Ace bird championships Short Distance KBDB !
The short distance pigeons in the auction !
A wonderful Pigeon Bids which starts on Sunday the 12th of September and ends on Tuesday the 21st of September at 14h00
The reason of this auction is rather simple. We had a period in Nieuwerkerken where we were part of one of the biggest unions in the province of Limburg on the short distance races and shorter middle distance races. The past season of 2021 this was split up in 3 groups, this makes that there are a lot less pigeons on the short distance races. As this was a nice union to race in we invested the past years in short distance pigeons. And with success – proof are the results with every year at least 15 pure victories, without doubles. (This season already 20 pure victories). There were acquisitions such as the famous ‘Jack’, the ‘Jenthe’, children out of National Ace birds and top pigeons on the short distance races, and these come now in sale. Next to these out of the strain of our base breeder ‘Boonen’, he is at the base of several victories and is grandfather to more than one provincial victory, this season f.e. 1st Provincial Melun against 3,600 pigeons and 1st Provincial Brive, and also the 1st Provincial La Souterraine youngsters. (Easy, he was already after 3 national race positioned as the 7th Best Youngsters Belgium)

‘Jack’ was bought end of 2019 from the small colony of Daniels Peeters from Ketsingen. This on one hand due to his results, but also due to the impression he gave Hilaire. A cock, with an extra ordinary appearance and intelligence, super soft feathers. He already got the name ‘Jack’ from the tandem as he always was present.
Also the heritance and the story behind this ‘Jack’ is truly wonderful. This is how we find on fathers’ side the blood strains from the famous ‘Bourges couple’ from the late Jan Grondelaers, a blood strain that is now at the base of many super pigeons. Thinking of King, Katoo, Dure Jan, Number One and so on…piece by piece famous pigeons who also were present in the National Ace bird competitions. The mother is from Nico Cleuren from Riemst, she is also mother to ‘Remi’ with 4x1 - sister Remi - 5x1 – the doorman 1° against 4167 pigeons. Normally ‘Jack’ would have become 2nd National Ace bird Short Distance KBDB yearlings in 2019, but due to an administrative mistake he wasn’t on the list. A complaint from the tandem wasn’t accepted anymore. He was 1st Provincial Ace bird Short Distance KBDB Limburg, where he became first before the 2nd National Ace bird KBDB !!! this proofs enough, and he also became Golden As LCB and this competition is won by the pigeon who has the highest number of prizes per 100 within one season. He was unbeatable.
During his first breeding season in Nieuwerkerken his youngsters were selected on their quality and moved all to the breeding loft. This season (2021) he was coupled to ‘Rainbow’ (another top hen in this auction). Three out of the four bred children to race won prizes per 10 and 8 grandchildren also won prizes per 10 with already prizes per 100 such as 5/1065 - 3/1076 - ….
‘Jack’ can be considered as a true talent, normally he was 2nd National Ace bird KBDB short distance yearlings ’19 after BE-18-1045020 “Daniel” from Dehon Demonseau (son Best Kittel) and before BE-18-5117600 “Rogerke” from Rondags.

The ‘Jenthe’, named after the son from Jan Torsin, moved end of 2020 back to Nieuwerkerken. He is a son to BE-11-2204303, ‘Son Yvan’ Herbots Brothers. This ‘303’ is also father to 35 NAT Bourges 30,182 p - 4° I.Prov. Bourges 1,565 p – grandfather to ‘Rainbow’ (13° nat. Ace bird short distance KBDB Yrl) and also in this auction. He is a son to the famous Yvan 1° + 4° National Ace bird KBDB and grandson ‘Kimi’ - 1° national Ace bird KBDB !
The mother to ‘Jenthe’ was BE-12-5149302, ‘’t goed van 770’, this ‘302’ won herself 4 x TOP 100 National with 9 Nat. Tours 3,947 p - 29 Nat. la Souterraine 4,144 p - 82 Nat. Issoudun 5,670 p - 88 Nat. Chateauroux 4,316 p, plus a 1st out of Mettet against 132 p.
