Ronny Menten from Rummen wins 1st Nat (z) Argenton 1,373 old birds

The first national race for Ronny Menten's colony and a direct hit, his 1st signed with the old pigeons was a 2-year old hen who also flew first in Argenton and Bourges last year, but unfortunately was not able to use her qualities enough due to the avian flu to show. Now in 2023 she won a 1st National (z) against 1,373 old birds in a tough race from Argenton. Again this is a granddaughter of the super couple “Golden Tulle” x “Super Alicia” (both top racers from the Ronny Menten household) crossed with the very best of Gino Clicque.

Flying team

The racing team is raced here on total widowhood, which includes “Oumi”. The pigeons did not breed in the winter and train very hard in the spring. Now they train daily 1x a day in the morning, only in the run-up to the middle distance races they flew 2x a day for 2 weeks and then it stops. Once they have enough kilometers in the wings, this is no longer necessary.

During the racing season, the pigeons always receive mixtures from Beyers and the Röhnfried products. The medical supervision here is supervised by Raf Herbots
