earth radiation – truth or fiction! part 1
EARTH RADIATION – TRUTH OR FICTION! Part 1
This may well be one of the “most boring” articles you will ever read in a pigeon newspaper or on a website. I took on the challenge of writing it because so much has already been written about this subject… mostly based on hearsay! In most reports about pigeon fanciers, this question is never asked regarding earth radiation and underground water veins. People are rather afraid of making a fool of themselves or, let’s say, of embarrassing themselves! Perhaps for you, dear reader, this is a strange and inappropriate subject to read about in a pigeon newspaper, but… if I were you, I would keep reading. Maybe next week you will be amazed by what you have read—and, importantly, by whom! In Part 2, I will let fanciers speak for themselves, and not just any—names that may truly surprise you. Here begins Part 1.
Much has already been said and written about earth radiation and water veins. Some people believe in it, others do not. What dowsers claim is that for someone with an attentive eye, it is not difficult to detect earth radiation and water veins.
First, by observing the soil itself: the ground where a water vein runs is sometimes very different from the surrounding soil. That strip may, for example, be harder, slightly raised—in short, it shows (as they claim) small movements. Possible indications of earth radiation can also be cracks in walls and floors.
Second, through lightning: lightning (they claim) always strikes above a water vein.
Third, through plants: many imported trees and shrubs are very sensitive to earth radiation. In a garden, you may see beautiful conifers, yet among them a few that simply refuse to grow. Some hedges show gaps that never seem to close. Or a laurel shrub that dies after a few years. Dowsers claim that planting new vegetation in these spots is pointless.
On closely mown lawns, one can sometimes see the radiation zones outlined in dew or frost. According to them, these are all signs of the presence of water veins.
Fourth, through animals: animals can, according to them, be divided into two groups.
The first group consists of animals that deliberately seek out earth radiation to “recharge” themselves for a few hours each day. This group includes many nocturnal animals such as cats, owls, and snakes. These animals consciously seek out these zones to rest or sleep on them.
Interestingly, these are the animals that in ancient times symbolized wisdom. Only later, during the Middle Ages, were they associated with negativity: cats with witchcraft, owls with stupidity, and snakes with poison.
A free-roaming cat will spend at least a couple of hours per day in a radiation zone, preferably in a sunny spot in the garden, against a wall, or under a shrub. It will choose that chair or that spot in the garden as its favorite sleeping place—right above the radiation. According to dowsers, however, one cannot always rely on a cat, since there are still 24 hours in a day and it may lie elsewhere at times.
In addition, there are insects, many of which—such as mosquitoes and ants—prefer to stay above earth radiation. Swarms of dancing mosquitoes are often found above or near intersections of radiation lines. Ants deliberately build their underground nests above these zones.
Wasps and bees also prefer to build their nests above or as close as possible to earth radiation. A good beekeeper knows to place hives above water veins; such bees are said to be more active and aggressive, and thus more productive than others. Most other animals, however, will consciously avoid resting above earth radiation.
The most fanatical animal in avoiding earth radiation is undoubtedly the dog. Dogs will never voluntarily sleep above such zones. A dog will never lie in a “radiated” chair or sleep on the affected part of a bed. If its only kennel is located above a radiation zone, it would rather sleep outside under the open sky than in that zone. It will always try—if necessary by force—to free itself from it. If it cannot escape, it will adopt a miserable posture and continuously emit whining or crying sounds, even at night. A dog forced to stay above earth radiation will, after several years, always die of cancer. A dog never fails in detecting earth radiation and would be the best guide—provided we learn to understand its behavior.
A horse roaming freely will never rest above a radiation zone. If, in a stable, it has no choice but to stand in such a zone to eat, it will often interrupt its meal several times to briefly move away. It is above these zones that a horse may develop discomfort or pain.
Cattle are also negatively affected. In a cowshed, it is almost always the cows that are tied above a radiation zone that become weak and ill. Fertility in these animals is often more difficult compared to others.
Pigeons are also sensitive to earth radiation. Pigeons housed in lofts located above radiation zones never reach peak condition. Fanciers with such lofts are often driven to despair. How often has it not been observed that pigeons in a certain loft fail to perform, yet when those same pigeons are moved to another loft—under the same owner—they suddenly achieve results?
The reason why certain animals seek out these zones is said to be because they produce acids in their bodies. These animals require a large amount of acid—some for defense, others for digestion.
It is therefore not illogical to conclude that earth radiation could be the cause of an excess of acids in the body… also in humans. These are all visually observable facts that, once again, point to the real existence of earth radiation—but there is more than just plants and animals.
To be continued.
