Bert Martens & Son from Elsloo (NL) win 1st Nat Sector B1 Lorris 4,157 pigeons

The young pigeon team of Bert & Roger Martens from Elsloo in the Netherlands has been at a very high speed in recent weeks. The series of 1st prizes is almost impossible to keep up with and the great series they have achieved are truly fantastic, which bodes well for their yearling racing team for the coming season. Now it was just last week that the pigeons performed slightly less well, could the form have gone through or was it just a bad day? The pigeons were prepared for Lorris and Chalons, for Lorris we especially hoped that the pigeons would come home quickly as yearlings, but they did not expect that we would win the 1st prize everywhere in the region. Their young hen “680” was the fastest of 4,157 pigeons and if you look at all the flights that flew on Saturday, this hen achieved the highest speed against 44,875 pigeons. She certainly has it from no strangers because her nest sister was already the fastest on Marche against 7,263 pigeons and among the late youngsters there are also 2 top youngsters among the youngsters who are there every week. A nice series was also achieved at Chalons and the victory was achieved against 863 young pigeons, here it became 1-2-4-5-6-7-…

You would regret that the season is almost over, but I think they are not angry about it here either and that it is enough.
