Argenton is becoming a bit of a refuge for the Hermans – Bonné colony from Loksbergen in Limburg. This year they already won a 1st and 7th National Argenton against 11,177 yearling pigeons and last year they also won a 5th National Argenton with the young pigeons. This past Sunday they were celebrating again with a 1st Nat (z) Argenton against 555 young pigeons and a 4th National of 9,401 young pigeons. The father of this young top hen is again a grandson of stock father “Den Hollander” crossed with the pigeons of Stijn Van Laere. It was a double celebration for Wim and Roger because the gold came to Loksbergen at Sourdun the day before. Here they won 1st Provincial Sourdun against 1,677 young pigeons and this was the fastest pigeon in the entire province. The weekend couldn't have been better and for them it was a fantastic end to their super season... or who knows what will happen next Saturday at Chateauroux.
