Team Van de Pasch from Grubbenvorst opens their fantastic treasure room

Who didn't know the late Jan Van de Pasch? He was known at home and abroad as a pleasant man who was always ready for a chat and you could always have fun with him. Unfortunately, Jan left us last year and fortunately the pigeon colony has continued to exist. Daughter Leanne continues to run the tribe together with her friend Ricardo Bolhoeve and they do this with verve. If they have to take an exam after a year and a half, we can already say that they have passed brilliantly.

The strength of the Van de Pasch pigeons are ace pigeons and they have a real winning mentality. This is due to years of strict selection by Jan himself and the insight he had into his breeding strategy. He also always sought out fanciers in the Netherlands who were better than him and tried to purchase something there so that his pigeons could also improve. This was especially successful with Willem De Bruijn's pigeons. Jan and Willem got along very well and exchanging pigeons, as well as co-breeding between the two colonies, was a hit. Willem de Bruijn's breed is still very much present here thanks to its successful basis here against Jan's extremely strong breed, which allowed you to breed a super fast pigeon.

The overview in detail of Jan's treasure trove of national trophies and national ribbons is enormous, you could fill an entire house with it, but time and time again during each visit, Jan proudly showed this room. He was proud of his pigeons and what he had achieved.

Now in 2023 the season has been fantastic for the old birds and yearlings with once again several national ace pigeons!!!

The short explanation of the breeding loft

We can talk about this in great detail, but in a short nutshell you will quickly find 2-3 important breeding lines in this top colony.

It all started thanks to “Lowieke” BE 96-6598538, this pigeon was original from Janssen Arendonk and was coupled to “Maxima” NL 99-1254938. “Maxima” won 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon All Round NPO WHZB 2001. Their daughter was “Miss Laura” NL 04-1114557 who became 5th Olympiad Pigeon All Round 2007 and she was coupled to a cock “Son Apollo” from Willem De Bruijn. This was the first contribution of Willem De Bruijn pigeons that would be a golden move for the Van de Pasch loft. Together they became the parents of “Jupiter” NL 09-1433175. This top racer became 1st National Ace Pigeon Youngsters 2009 and 2nd West European Ace Pigeon Sprint 2010. The offspring of this wonder racer is still into almost all top pigeons. A strain of pigeons that continues to win generation after generation and can fly 1st prices against thousands of pigeons.

The input of Willem De Bruijn pigeons has been fantastic here, the next hen “Mother Olympic Ranomi” NL 08-1542878 is a daughter of “Cowboy” and granddaughter of “Rossi” x “Spinneke” from Heremans – Ceusters. She is the one and only base breeding hen of this loft in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations.Now 15 years later, these 2 bloodlines are still the main breeding lines in the breeding loft which, together with the input of several children of "Olympic Hurricane" and "Murphy's Law" from Willem De Bruijn, provide a fantastic breeding loft. The best son of “Olympic Hurricane” comes through co-breeding with Willem De Bruijn who was coupled to “Olympic Argentonneke” 2 Olympiad Pigeon Cat.H Nitra 2013 and from this “Hurricane 289” was born who is grandfather and great-grandfather of several super racers in this racing team .

Here we show some photos of real top breeders who have produced real top pigeons in several generations in the current racing team that is now being auctioned. Here you can see once again that the best proven pigeons always went to the breeding loft and did fantastic work here.

National Ace Pigeon No Limit

The ace pigeon “NL 21-1342212” No Limit is a daughter of 2 children who come further from their 2 best breeding lines of their colony. This is the super breeder "Jupiter" coupled to "Mother Olympic Ranomi" who were then crossed with the "Olympic Hurricane" line of Willem De Bruijn.

This beautiful blue hen raced very strongly from the beginning to the end and thus won the title of 1st National Ace Pigeon Sprint NPO 2022. A wonderful title for a wonderful hen that will go through life as “NO LIMIT”.
