Hazaert Gerry ( Neerijse ) wins 1ST Provincial Valence 344 old

Normally Montelimar was on the calendar last weekend, but due to strong mistral winds this was changed to Valence. The first pigeon barely did 1100 m/min while the following pigeons all went below that. The winner in Flemish Brabant in Gerry Hazaert who won the victory with a 2-year old hen.

Racing team total widowhood

The racing team is completely on total widowhood and was coupled on March 20, he let them brood over and they were allowed to fly their first 2 official races without pressure or stress. Afterwards he switched to the system of widowhood and Agen is the last race on this. These were basketed and Gerry already left the other group together to start the next flight after 10 days of brooding. The pigeons from Agen will then also be coupled in function of Narbonne. Nothing is shown before basketing and when they return home they can always stay together until the next day. The hens train around noon and the widowers always in the evening.

The mixtures used are Aidi Vliegmix 1 + 2 and Beyers Premium Jelle and Beyers Koopman All-in One. The racing pigeons were examined before the season and received a cure against tricho and this is maintained weekly with a meal of yellow drops over the feed, nothing has yet been done for the respiratory tract.
