Yesterday, the 28th of October, the end of the auction of 145 pigeons from Jo Bauters (Gavere) was on the program. All pigeons born before 2019 came into auction and thanks to the professional care of the entire Herbots team this internet auction ended at the total amount of 469,425€ or in other words no less than 3,237€ average per pigeon. The pigeons went to 9 different countries but due to the big sportive successes of the Bauters pigeons especially the Chinese customers had more than interest in the offered quality. Thanks to the effort of 3 Chinese speaking teams and different live streams 97 pigeons were sold to China. 
The most expensive pigeons were “Ellis Pride” (sold for 50,000€), “Totti” (1st nat. Cahors sold for 42,500€), “Ellis Porsche” (sold for 26,000€), “Fabian Porsche” (sold for 24,000€), “Ellis 81” (father to the 1st Nat. Limoges – sold for 24,000€), “Bolleke” (base hen – sold for 20,000€) and “Fabian 96” (sold for 17.000€)
