What is "Handling fee"

When purchasing a pigeon on our website, you pay €10/pigeon. This fee will be listed as a "Handling Fee" and applies to pigeons purchased in both the "Top Pigeons for Sale" and "Pigeon Bids" sections.

This "Handling Fee" includes:

• Processing and administrative costs: Covers order processing, including the preparation of correct documents (TRACES, veterinary certificates, etc.) to ensure the pigeons can be transported legally. With ever-increasing regulations, more and more certificates are required before a pigeon can be shipped.

• Medical checks: Every pigeon shipped by Herbots is treated according to predefined medical standards to ensure they arrive healthy at their new owner's location.

• Logistical preparation and VIP checks: Each pigeon is individually checked and prepared for transport.

• Transport of sold pigeons: High-quality and safe packaging is provided to ensure the pigeon arrives in good condition.
