Rudy Denies from Sint-Joris-Weert shines thanks to the top family of “Rolex” and “Festina”

For the first time we are selling some top pigeons and children from their best breeders from Rudy Denies from Sint-Joris-Weert. He has performed very well over the last 3 seasons, especially in the middle distance and further flights. The colony here consists of Patrick Draye and Rudy who have joined forces together. Patrick has been interested in pigeon racing since he was a child and is now trying to rebuild a colony here in his parental lofts.
The common thread throughout this colony is a family of winners and ace pigeons that rarely miss. He is mainly assisted here by the Erik Limbourg breed of which 75% of the colony consists, supplemented with half a round from Guido Van Caneghem in 2017 and pigeons from Geert De Clercq, Jan Mees, Hazaert Gerry, Vermeerbergen – Wilms and Deneys Dimitri. The latest acquisitions come from Willem De Bruijn. But Patrick's conclusion is, it starts with good pigeons…
Several ace pigeons have been achieved in the last 3 seasons, including of course “Rolex”, the leader of this colony, which became 1st National Ace Pigeon middle distance yearlings KBDB with a lowest coefficient ever in the middle distance until 2022 and on top of that this top pigeon became 1st Ace Pigeon World best Pigeon middle distance. This one of course doesn't get it from a stranger because he is a grandson of “Festina”. This hen was the start of the ace pigeon chain that you can find here, she was classified twice among the first ten nationally in the middle distance. The “Rolex” family and the “Festina” line will be the common thread here for the coming years, that much is certain.
The bar is always very high for Rudy and Patrick and these pigeons that were offered here have undergone a strict selection, but not a single pigeon scored lower than 95% as an assessment, which means that these pigeons are in excellent condition and in construction, wing, lock and muscles look fine.

Every special pigeon has a special story. “Rolex” was not a good student in the beginning, during the first training flights he always came home last and he continued this trend until the first real flights. It wasn't until the end of April that he had his sights in the right direction and won 1st from Momignies against 288 pigeons. Afterwards he left and flew straight to the national ace pigeon title. Sometimes you have to be patient and because he was such a beautiful cock he got his chance.
