Rino Verheye from Aalbeke and his real All Round colony

Rino Verheye and Miranda from Aalbeke in West Flanders play very well year after year, preferably in all areas. The preference here is for national flights, but on the shorter flights from Clermont you have to start taking them into account. It is a real All Round colony that can compete up to 700km and this year they again achieved the 2nd Prov Ace Pigeon Long Distance KBDB. The colony here largely runs on the stock couple “Benny Hill” x “Emillia” and their superstar “Jommeke” who became 2 x 1st Prov Ace Pigeon All Round KBDB. Rino and Miranda simply believe that the basket will determine which pigeons will end up in the breeding loft in the future, so flying is the message and then showing them in the flights of truth is the goal here.

Superstar Jommeke

One of the standard bearers of this colony is “Jommeke” BE 16-3005665. He himself was a real wonder racer who belonged to the very best Ace pigeons 2 years in a row and was 2 x 1st Prov Ace Pigeon All Round in a row in 2016 and 2017 in the province of West Flanders. Few pigeons who have done that before and after him. Afterwards he was placed in breeding and several toppers came out. What luck and a good choice by Rino not to sell such a topper.

Among the yearlings in 2021, “Newton” was one of the best yearlings, he became 5th Prov Ace Pigeon Long Distance KBDB 2021 and 22nd Nat Ace Pigeon Long Distance Yearlings KBDB 2021.

They were coupled together for the first time in 2020, immediately resulting in 2 top hens, both of which are already top racers and proven breeding hens.

“Mozes” is a son of 2 proven top racers in 2016 and won himself 7 x per 10 as a youngster. Afterwards in the breeding loft he only got better. "Jennifer" is a checkered white head hen that comes directly from the old stock couple "Benny Hill" x "Emillia". She is a full sister of "Hercules" and several other toppers.
