En 2020, la famille Denys a célébré son jubilé de 100 ans dans la colombophilie. Tout a commencé en 1920 avec le grand-père Emiel Denys Sr et grâce aux efforts fanatiques/professionnels du petit-fils Emiel (75j), le nom Denys n'est jamais resté en dehors des projecteurs de la colombophilie internationale. Emiel a gravi toutes les étapes, mais ces dernières années, il s'est concentré sur les courses marathon et les One-Loft-races. Et on peut dire que... dans les deux disciplines, Emiel peut plus que tenir son rang.
Outre les races de base Cattrysse, André Vanbruaene, Vander Espt, Stichelbaut et Georges Coutteau, la célèbre ligne "Tee" est encore pratiquement tissée dans tous les toppers. Emiel a toujours été un collectionneur de vainquers (inter)national/as-pigeons. Des toppers qui ont également marqué de leur empreinte la souche actuelle et ici nous pensons spontanément aux récents toppers "Silver Wing Barcelona" (3ème Internat. Barcelona - Decherf Etienne) et "Trapke" (1er Nat. ace KBDB allround - Leutenez).
