Loft Sapin, Incourt shines with “Romeo” as 1st National Ace bird Short Distance old KBDB 2020

When we’re heading direction the Belgian French Incourt we know what time it is, we’re heading for the sprint king Denis Sapin. For over 20 years he’s racing on the highest level but the past few years the level even increased a lot. If you become the past 5 years twice 2nd and twice 3rd National Champion Short Distance belongs to the best of the best of the country. You don’t have to discuss a lot about it. And his pigeons aren’t only very fast but can also compete on the national races from 500km. Class on the short distance races and competing with the same strain of pigeons on the 500km races isn’t something many amongst us can do.
What brought the season of 2020 for him ?
As president of the Sports committee at the KBDB you know that he didn’t only had a role within the entire Covid-happenings so we could luckily race as good as an entire season. Next to this you have to control the form of your pigeons so as from the moment the races could start you can compete directly at the top..
The goal was ‘Victor’…but ‘Romeo’ came along…
When you have a pigeon on your widowers loft that won the past two years 9th and 13th National Ace bird you hope off course that he’ll do it again and can add another title. ‘Victor’ did what he had to do the first weeks and had beaten ‘Romeo’ all the time. But then destiny struck and ‘Victor’ missed tremendously and ‘Romeo’ didn’t keep on going as he was doing but became even better with a few 1st prizes on top of it and this is how he became the head pigeon of the Sapin colony.
After the racing season it became clear that ‘Romeo’ was a top candidate to become National Ace bird and this is what happened. He became 1st and ‘Victor’ became 16th . Super class…

The Golden Couple
A few years ago (2013) you couldn’t beat top hens ‘Venus’, ‘Maria’ and ‘Serena’. They won on a weekly base first prizes one after the other. Two years later ‘Icha’ was born, this classful hen became 1st Olympiad bird Cat. G Brussels 2017 and also in 2015 ‘Samuel’ was born. He crowned himself later as 9th Olympiad bird Cat. A 2019 and 10th National Ace bird Short Distance old KBDB 2018. In the meantime ‘Venus’ became mother to two super hens namely ‘Eva’ and ‘Morgane’ who raced especially well on the greater middle distance races and ‘Serena’ became mother to ‘Victor’. The topper with 3 national ace bird titles in 2018-2019 and 2020. The last top pigeon at the Sapin loft became ‘Romeo’ who won the title of 1st National Ace bird Short Distance KBDB 2020. An unique couple that you find seldomly and on top of that give their good genes to children of them.

This pigeons are doing well in Belgium as in the far East, we hear as Herbots company that many of them succeeded with these pigeons. A gesture that is highly appreciated by Denis and which makes him very happy that his pigeons are doing well on the other side of the world.
