Walter Van der Meulen, Sirjansland ( Holland ) is a golden treasury on the extreme long distance

Thanks to Jackie De Bruine we got to the treasury from Walter Van der Meulen out of Sirjansland in Holland. Maybe an unknown name in Belgium but this man can show more than one patent of nobility on own loft and also elsewhere his pigeons are doing amazingly well. 

Walter won in the past 9 seasons no less than 10 x TOP 10 National on the extreme long distance. Just to say how high the bars are set. Just top class on national level who also shined the past seasons at Jackie De Bruine with a 1st and 2nd National Barcelona in 2018 and 2019. 

Walter himself set a marvellous result on Barcelona 2021 with 4 x TOP 100 National and 8 x TOP 200 National.

Breeding base  

Since 1992 Walter went direction the marathon races where he really fell in love with. The first real successes come from Jan Ernest and Janssens Hausoul, or 2 world famous lofts with a strain to bow for. Next to these the strain is accomplished with pigeons from Paul & Luc Bramel and Comb. Rekker Westra. But especially the first old strain is still doing amazingly well in the current top pigeons where now especially the strain of the “823” stands out really clear
